Hello Aurélien, can you introduce yourself in a few words?
"My name is Aurélien Chausserie-Laprée, I am 22 years old, I am a professional ice hockey player for the Marseille Spartans. I am originally from Bordeaux where I started playing when I was only 5 years old and half.
I left for sports studies in Strasbourg at 14 and started playing in the Magnus League at 17. Then I arrived in Marseille in 2019."
In your opinion, what are the values conveyed by ice hockey?
“Team spirit, respect and rigor.”
What moment in your career marked you the most?
The title of French D1 champion had a big impact on me. It was during the year of covid-19, the matches took place behind closed doors, we didn't know if the championship would go through to the end but ultimately there was a magical outcome.

YOUR NEXT SPORTS CHALLENGE?
My next challenge is in my professional practice to participate in the playoffs so for that you have to win as many matches as possible. As an individual, I set myself a challenge which is to do a half marathon after the hockey season in the spring.

We know that you attach great importance to plant-based nutrition, can you say a few words about it?
It gives me a lot of variety, it's important for me to have varied energy sources in order to have a complete nutritional balance.
How do you consume nüttree energy balls?
I consume the energy balls during my matches, when I leave university and head to training or between a weight training session and on-ice training.
What is your favorite flavor ?
I was very pleasantly surprised by the matcha & goji taste. I didn't have any particular expectations for this one but I loved its originality!
