Energy Balls | Choco-Banana
|
Preparation time: 30 minutes Servings: ~ 30 balls
|
Ingredients :
- 90g fresh banana (about 2/3 of a banana)
- 135g of dates (Medjool or Deglet Nour)
- 13.5g cocoa powder
- 126g raw almonds
- 18g flax seeds (preferably crushed)
- 67.5g oat flakes
|
Preparation :
- Put the flax seeds (previously mixed), almonds, cocoa powder and oat flakes in your food processor and mix to break up and mix well the dry ingredients.
Nüt'tips : If you don't have a coffee grinder to grind flax seeds, use whole ones....they will still help with digestion. By grinding them, the body benefits better from all their properties (omega-3, antioxidants, nutrients, etc.). Also, don't hesitate to use gluten-free oatmeal or other cereals if you have food allergies or intolerances. Same goes for almonds!
- Add the banana and dates and mix until the mixture is thick and smooth.
Nüt'tips : Depending on the size of the banana and dates, your dough will be more or less moist. Adjust with more dry ingredients if it's too sticky.
- Transfer the dough to a bowl. If it is very sticky, you can put it in the fridge for 20 to 30 minutes to set a little.
- Divide the dough into small pieces and roll them into balls. They are ready to be devoured! They can be kept in the fridge for 3 weeks.
