To begin, can you tell us a few words about yourself?

Hi everyone, I'm Catheline Ramonet, I'm 22 years old, I'm a member of Team France de La Défense de Cyclisme, I also do Handi basketball at the JDA Basket Fauteuil.

What pushed you to practice this sport at this high level?

I started by going on mountain bike outings with friends, not being a big fan, I went to a cycling club where I was able to do a test workout and I immediately appreciated the competition, the speed and self-transcendence.

What is your fondest sporting memory?

My best memory - and perhaps the worst too - was at the European Championships Vaujany with the Col de La Croix de Fer and the Glandon, the weather was terrible, the course was made even more complicated and dangerous. The satisfaction of having finished the race and having placed 3rd was present.

What does a typical workout look like?

Most of the time I train in mesocycle being in the preparation period for races but in the uncertainty due to the health crisis my trainer plans a lot of basic/intermittent sessions for me in order to be in shape for race days.

Do you pay attention to your diet? If so, all year round or rather by period?

Yes, for me, a healthy lifestyle is essential to perform. Throughout the year I try to be regular with my diet without forgetting to treat myself during rest periods to recharge my batteries.

What do you think of Nüttree energy balls?

I haven't parted with energy balls since I discovered them, natural, organic, vegan, without added sugars, everything is there for Athletes or any other public. They are easy to use, you can eat them anywhere as a snack/during training/afterwards... Or simply to satisfy a little hunger pangs.

What are your favorite perfumes?

I really like all the flavors but I have a big crush on Matcha balls!!!
